Hey there, I’m Antonio!

Meet Antonio!

Ever wondered how to blend the thrill of gaming, the magic of music, and the misteries of the universe into a PhD journey? Well, that’s me! Born in the sunny village of Mercato San Severino near Salerno, Italy, I’m on a quest at the University of Salerno to unravel the wonders of Graph Analytics on GPUs. But hey, life isn’t all about graphs and codes, right?

When I’m not diving deep into GPUs, you’ll find me conquering virtual worlds, battling epic bosses, and leveling up in my favorite video games. Gaming isn’t just a hobby; it’s a passion that fuels my creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Music is the heartbeat of my soul. Alongside gaming, I express my love for melodies through the enchanting keys of a piano. Whether it’s arranging some tunes or playing beloved soundtracks, the piano is my sanctuary.

My academic journey began in Salerno, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree. I further pursued my Master’s with a focus on Cloud Computing, which took me all the way to Sweden during my Erasmus. Now, I’m back at the University of Salerno as a PhD student, with Biagio Cosenza ORCID logo guiding my research adventures.

Diving Deep into Research

In the expansive realm of digital landscapes, I find myself deeply immersed in the captivating world of graphs! My research revolves around leveraging the computational power of GPUs, exploring the synergy between heterogeneity and efficiency through the SYCL programming model.

Beyond this, I’m venturing into the intriguing domain of frequency scaling on GPUs, pushing the boundaries of high-performance computing to new heights.

As a PhD student at the University of Salerno , I’m on an journey to unravel these cutting-edge technologies’ mysteries and shape the future of computational science.

Feel free to reach out if you’re intrigued by these topics or simply want to dive into exciting discussions about the latest advancements in tech and science!
